J.R. Dunn started in 1969 when the couple James Robert Dunn and Ann Marie decided to spend their $10,000 saving into the jewelry business and called it “The House of Gems”. After being robbed, James and Ann retained their integrity by paying their clients’ stolen pieces out of their own pockets. Today, JR Dunn Jewelers has expanded its business in Lighthouse Point. Among their products are designer pieces, jewelry, watches, diamonds, corporate gifts, and Rolex.

The company offers a 90-day layaway program for an engagement ring, bridal jewelry, and branded pieces. For financing, they offer Affirm and PayPal Bill Me Later programs. To use one of these programs, choose between the two at checkout. However, select Rolex models, loose diamonds, diamond solitaire jewelry, pre-owned pieces are excluded from the offer.
